Foundation for the Future

“Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future.” - Nelson Mandela

At Balmithra, we believe that children are the greatest assets to society and that it is our duty as educators to equip them with all the skills they will need for the rest of their lives. By treating children with compassion, motivating them to explore new ideas, and teaching them to think independently and express themselves, we encourage children to love learning, respect each other, and to be confident and resilient.

Absorbent Minds

“The child has a different relation to his environment from ours… the child absorbs it. The things he sees are not just remembered; they form part of his soul. He incarnates in himself all in the world about him that his eyes see and his ears hear.”- Maria Montessori.

Children are like sponges, absorbing everything around themselves, effortlessly, continuously, and indiscriminately. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that around 85% of a child’s core brain structure is developed by the time they are five years old. Keeping this in mind, Balmithra strives to create a positive and supportive environment that introduces children to new and diverse ideas while also allowing them to express themselves without inhibitions in a safe space.

Live, Learn, Love, Laugh

“The best way to make children good is to make them happy.” - Oscar Wilde
Balmithra, as the name suggests, strives to be a friend to children rather than a harsh taskmaster. Therefore, everything about Balmithra, from the infrastructure to the curriculum, is structured to be child-friendly. It is at the core of our philosophy to ensure that every child is happy to come to school, enjoys learning, and is allowed to grow in their own special way.
