Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC) 2025

With great enthusiasm and academic spirit, six students from Grade XI of The Pupil Saveetha Eco School participated in the prestigious Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC) 2025, hosted by KC High School in association with the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), University of Waterloo, Canada.

We are proud to share that the following students represented our school as a team:

  • Vaibhav R – XI S1

  • Ashwath D Lewis – XI S2

  • Keerthivasan J – XI S6

  • Pranev D R – XI S6

  • Rajnidhi Sivakumar – XI S6

  • C Alfred – XI S6

The contest comprised three intellectually stimulating rounds:

  • Individual Round – where each student solved a set of 10 problems independently

  • Relay Round – involving interconnected problem-solving in sub-teams

  • Team Round – requiring collaborative effort to solve 25 challenging questions

The event also featured an insightful guest lecture titled “Fun with Numbers” by Prof. C.S. Karuppan Chetty, Former Head of the Department of Mathematics, NIT Trichy, which added depth and inspiration to the day.

This experience provided an excellent platform for our students to sharpen their mathematical aptitude, foster collaborative learning, and engage with peers from various institutions. We commend their spirited participation and academic commitment.
