Montessori Day Wrap-Up: Cherishing Our Learning Journey Together! 

 Our school proudly celebrated Dr.Maria Montessori Day on 30th August 2024 from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

We were delighted to have parents join their children  for an immersive experience, engaging with the Montessori philosophy firsthand.

 This student-led initiative showcased children presenting and demonstrating Montessori materials under the guidance of their Montessori educators.

Parents actively participated, working with the Montessori materials , and gaining valuable insight into their children's daily activities.

This event provided a joyful experience  and offered an opportunity to educate parents about the Montessori approach and its impact on their children's learning journey. 

Celebrating Madras: A Tapestry of Tradition, Taste, and Togetherness

On August 22, 2024, The Pupil Saveetha Eco School celebrated Madras Day with vibrant enthusiasm . The event featured various activities that united students, parents, and teachers to honor Madras's rich heritage.

Stalls and Food : Parents and students set up vibrant stalls with popular regional delicacies , delighting everyone.

Cultural Programmes: The day included captivating song and dance performances by students , showcasing traditional and contemporary Madras arts.

Traditional Games: Parents and Teachers organized game stations where children could try out traditional games.

Kolam Making: Parents also contributed by creating traditional kolams and teaching our kids the art, adding a personal and educational touch to the celebration. The celebrations were a resounding success, fostering community and cultural appreciation.

Celebrating Krishna Jayanthi: A Colorful Showcase by Our Little Radhas and Krishnas 

On 23rd August 2024, our Montessori, Divyam,UKG ,Grade 1 and 2 students celebrated Krishna Jayanthi with great enthusiasm, dressed beautifully as Radha and Krishna. The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer song , followed by a captivating presentation of joyful melodies and graceful dance performances . The young students cheered for their peers, creating a lively and festive atmosphere . They also shared bhakshana  with their loved ones, fostering a sense of joy and community.

Exploring Ecosystems: A Guest Lecture for Grade 2 Students 


On August 21st, 2024, our Grade 2 students engaged in a detailed inquiry into animal classification and environmental impact. Ms. Sripriya Srini, a volunteer from NGO Bhumi, delivered an informative guest lecture, addressing the significant effects of human activities on ecosystems, including habitat loss and species extinction. She emphasized the interconnectedness of ecosystems and encouraged students to raise awareness about global warming and climate change.
